Description
In the course, technological, chemical and physical basics of analogue colour photography are taught theoretically and practically:
Material structure of films and colour papers, exposure of negatives and slides, development processes in negative and positive processing, colour science (neutral colours, colour cast, deliberately created false colours), introduction to practical application on the developing machines (negative and positive) in the workshop.
In the course of the semester, the aim is to acquire the skills to be able to carry out the work process from exposure and development of the negative to the preparation of colour enlargements.
This is subsequently also the basis for independent work in the workshop.
No previous knowledge is required!
Max 9 participants!
Examination Modalities
The V/U has an immanent examination character.
Attendance of at least 80% is required.
At the end of the V/U, an independently created print or a print series should be presented.
Attendance at the preliminary discussion is obligatory for participation in the course!
