Texts as a medium of reflection of (one's own) artistic practice. Relevant theoretical discourses of contemporary art form the basis of our approach to analytical practise. The goal is to sharpen our awareness for writing about art and to start with our own concerns. Techniques of writing lead us to our special language.

The course is intended as an exercise with an experimental and goal-oriented character. The willingness to read and write your own (short) texts is expected. In contrast to Creative Writing, this course is more about "applied or uncreative writing".

A visit to an exhibition will provide the stimulus for further reading and writing. The semester theme is Automatisms in Writing.
