Advanced seminar for winter semester 22/23

In this course, the field of video as well as video and presentation techniques will be discussed and taught. Various possibilities of video editing, modification and presentation are presented. Examples from the field of video and media art show the participants the multifaceted possibilities of use. Participants are also invited to present and discuss their own works or concepts. 

In the summer semester 2021, the focus is on the object-oriented programming environment "Isadora" https://troikatronix.com/.  With the help of this software, (interactive) video installations can be easily programmed. 

- Introduction to Isadora 3.0

- Simple patching with Isadora

- Mapping 

- Tracking

- use of sensors (motion, distance,...)

- Basics in Adobe Premiere if required

- Signal flow and cable knowledge

- Design of concepts for video works/installations

- Possibilities of technical realisation

Continuous attendance of at least 80%.

Active participation and creation of an own artistic video work.

Video basics desired!

Own laptop advantageous but not obligatory.
