Description

With life drawing, an essential component of object study, a discipline of ever-changing combinations of historical examples and contemporary approaches, the combination of traditional and progressive as well as formally bound and artistically free content is explored.

Examination Modalities

BASIS FOR EVALUATION: 20 works: Size at least A3, preferably larger (e.g. 70x50, 80x60). Technique: preferably drawing (graphite, charcoal, India ink, crayon, fineliner, red chalk...) but also painting, mixed media, material experiments Please label the individual sheets with: Name, Matr.No., field of study, period of origin (e.g."SS 23").

The confirmation of the workplace in the Aktsaal will be announced to the students by the teachers by mail after 27.February 2023.

At the beginning of the semester students are required to register for a specific day (MO/DI/MI/DO) and a fixed LV unit (1st block or 2nd block). The assigned workstation on the part of the department is binding for the designated day of the week and block of hours for the entire semester. Students may also take two blocks if the number of registrations permits. However, fixed times must be observed throughout the semester (e.g.: Block 1 on Tuesday and Block 2 on Thursday).

Due to limited space available, space will be assigned based on statute §5/7:

With the exception of individual artistic instruction, courses are open to all regular Applied students. When space is limited, preference shall be given to students who need the space to successfully complete their degree. In the allocation of space, students shall be given the following priority:

  1. regular students, as a compulsory subject.
  2. regular students, as an elective subject
  3. regular students, as an optional subject only for courses from non-artistic subjects
  4. extraordinary students
  5. co-enrolled students from other universities
