2022W, Künstl. Einzelunterricht (KE), 15.0 ECTS, 15.0 semester hours, course number S40639
The aim of the course is to develop an individual attitude towards artistic expression and production, as well as dealing with the social and artistic environment and to achieve an independent artistic position. Together we interrogate, criticize and discuss individual approaches and inspirations, in order to further participation in contemporary artistic discourse.
In the Zentralen Künstlerischen Fach (ZKF), the focus is on personal artistic development. A part of the work takes place in collective projects with special attention to the ability to present one's own work orally and in exhibition form. Individual support and discussions are of particular importance.
The discussions take place in German or English, depending on the situation.
During class meetings, which usually take place every other week, the students submit their work for "Joint Criticism". Discussion is encouraged in order to question the presented projects and to argue ideas. The focus placed on this process enables the students to respond to the contributions to the discussion, which can be of decisive help in the final realization of the work. Individual tutorials support the process described above and stimulate the process of developing ideas.
The course is not open to participants from outside the department.
