Description

Introduction to metal as a material for sculpture. Students will learn the basics of cutting, joining, and construction, as well as the proper use of tools and machinery. This course will prepare students to begin their own independent projects in metal.  

Closed-toe shoes and practical clothing are required.  If you have personal protective equipment (goggles, hearing protection, etc.), you are welcome to bring it with you.

Space is limited to six students. Students from the departments "Sculpture and Space" and "Site-Specific Art" receive priority.
