We are all islands – isolated, yet ultra-connected.

With (patriarchal) nationalist ideologies of separation, rising to deny the threat [TA1] on ecosystems and indigenous knowledges; with technologies of separation developed to sort populations apart, to keep some people away from certain immunized islands; and thus reconfiguring the geographies of production, accumulation, extraction and dispossession – which vocabulary, narratives and artistic practices can enable another sense of community, based on social justice and solidarity, on human and more-than-human cooperation?

The course will mobilize previously identified methodologies and practices. We will discuss them, appropriate, reinvent and recontextualize them to investigate territories and bodies. We will aim at collectively creating an (archipelagic) mapping and an (incomplete) glossary of (engaged) artistic strategies.
