Description
It would seem that the term history painting is obsolete. And it seems we are surrounded by nothing but fake news. The importance of strategic placement of news has never been obsolete and never will be. Different eras use different means to advance their ideolgical goals. The role that art plays in this and the images that painting in particular produces for this will be examined in this proseminar.
Examination Modalities
Attendance, discussion, reflection, and a presentation leading to a written proseminar paper are conditions for a positive grade.
