Description

Based on individual projects, the creation of print templates through to the different possibilities of textile screen printing is taught in theory and practice in individual lessons.

In addition to classic textile screen printing, smaller formats (up to approx. 55 x 75 cm) also enable experimental, serigraphic applications.

Depending on the requirements, all available means can be tested, researched, new knowledge gained and applied on different substrates, wood, leather, foils etc.

Examination Modalities

The artistic implementation of design concepts and objectives during the work process, as well as the commitment in the overall project, are evaluated.

Finally, a digital image of the result must be sent to ute.huber-leierer@uni-ak.ac.at.

 

Comments

A personal initial meeting is required for organizational reasons, in which an idea (draft) is discussed and the further procedure is agreed.
Salzgries 14 ground floor, every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the semester.

The course is held throughout the semester, except when there are no lectures, in the Textile Technology department during opening hours, daily from 10:00 a.m. (Salzgries branch 14, ground floor).

Registration on the base is possible and mandatory at any time.
