Description
The seminar deals with the application of conventional consolidants, such as silicic acid esters, as well as newly developed consolidants, such as nano-products. The theoretical part on general properties of the strengthening systems is complemented by a practical part in which simple test methods up to detailed SEM analyses of the respective consolidants in relation to different stone varieties and decay phenomena are taught for a practical application.
