We will cover topics such as: Advanced program environment, image research and image rights, import functions, Camera Raw, color modes, color management (ICC profiles, monitor calibration), advanced selection techniques and special masks (area, color, luminance, contour), advanced brush options, color modification, color effects, detail retouching, area retouching, advanced tonal value and color correction options, hi-end retouching techniques (negative clarity, frequency separation, dodge&burn etc. ), advanced transforming of solids and spaces (puppet warp, liquify, adaptive wide angle correction, vanishing point etc.), preparation of images for hi-end print output (output sharpening, final check etc.), export functions and much more.
In case of face-to-face teaching: Compulsory attendance as a basis for evaluation. The examination takes place during the workshop in the form of a time-limited image processing task.
In case of distance learning: Participation in mandatory Zoom meetings. Completion of relevant examination tasks.
The workshop in WS2022/2023 is expected to be held in face-to-face mode. Should this change, the adjustment of the modalities will be communicated here at this location. Prerequisites for participation in the workshop are good Mac OS or Windows skills and basic Photoshop knowledge. Start times, on time. In principle, co-occupants can also participate in the workshop. Current co-occupancy status required. The workshop will be held in German. Participants will have access to an English-language script.
