Description

Teaching of basic concepts of drawing practices as well as techniques of mapping and various notation systems. Introduction to questions of subjective cartographies, scores and choreographies through perception exercises. Methods of "drawing-on" (notating) and "writing-in" (inscribing) are tried out individually and collectively. Extension of drawing to "expanded drawing" by means of material and movement.

The course is part of the APL (Applied Performance Laboratory).
