Description

The objective of the lecture is to impart & develop fundamental facts, theories and principles of ecology & sustainability.

On four dates a guest lecturer from a different special field will be invited to share his experiences and point of views to that topic and discuss it with all participants.

In addition to that, every student creates a meta-study for a self-chosen topic (e.g. a comparison of the ecological and sustainable aspects of two comparable materials). The results will be presented and discussed during the lecture.

Examination Modalities

For the successful completion of the course the following criteria will be used:

  • Constant and punctual participation (min. 70% attendance, 40% of the grade)
  • Submission and presentation of the exercises results (40%  of the grade)
  • Active participation in the discussion (20%  of the grade)
