Beschreibung
In this course, basics of preventive conservation and collection care are discussed. This includes hazards for and vulnerabilities of objects, monuments and collections and preventive measures of mitigation and protection. Examples from the practice underpin theoretical assumptions.
Students will learn how to recognize and assess potential hazards and risks for artworks and collections and will be equipped with knowledge on how to measure, avoid and mitigate them.
