Beschreibung
This seminar is an artistic endeavor about Experimental Game Cultures and live play, narration and theater. You will play, challenge narration and theatrical play, Avatar design and subjective experiences in new forms of non-commercial Online worlds. The aim is both, to develop an experimental game and to create a theatrical play – on stage and as collective experience in a multiplayer universe.
The seminar and discourse on Avatars and societies, human and non-human life is inspired by R.U.R. - Rossums Universal Robots (Karel Čapek, 1922).
The outcome can be a physical performance or/and an play in the virtual world. It also will be a staged physical play, and augmented play or a performance in the Metaverse.
Prüfungsmodalitäten
Development of a playable protoype, presentation and participation.

Der Seminar-Inhalt zu Avatara ist genderspezifisch zu verstehen, insofern dass Identität, Körperlichkeit und ihre Repräsentation im Virtuellen und Raum der Spiele diskutiert und reflektiert werden soll.
