Description
In this Proseminar we will get an overview of (some) methodologies of art history, learn about different ways of interpreting paintings and how to apply them. You will get to know scientific techniques as researching, reading, discussing, presenting and writing scientific texts.
Examination Modalities
regular attendance (absence of max. 2 lessons), active participation, oral presentation with handout, written scientific text of 5 pages at the end of the semester
dead-line for the texts is: sept 4 2022
please hand in your text by e-mail as a pdf or word document
AND give it to the Abteilung Kunstgeschichte in a print out version

Comments
Course language will be German, some texts will be available both in German and English, some only in German or only in English. Oral contributions and written texts can be English. If you have questions please mail me or approach me directly.
