In this course, you’ll have the opportunity to work on concrete writing projects, especially term papers that are due by the end of the 2022 spring term. The initial session in March 2022 will review the key tools addressed in my winter term 2021/22 Intro to Academic Research class (formatting guidelines, writing style, understanding and making arguments, organizing a paper). In three workshops in April, May, and June, we will discuss the acute challenges that are arising in your current research/writing processes. You will give and receive direct feedback to and from your peers, and also from me. You will re-work your term paper-in-becoming in class, and as homework between workshops, based on the feedback you get in the workshops. In the last session in June, you will self-evaluate your work.

For successful completion of the class, you will need to:
- attend all three workshops, and at least one of the two shorter sessions
- participate in classroom discussion
- share your written work with the class and me
- give and receive peer review
- self-evaluate your work at the end of the term
