PER.SPECTIVES

It is the means of orientation which establishes our place in the world. Looking at instances in the history of explorations, its trajectories, findings, failures and related inventions – both in time and space – puts emphasis on the reasoning of a narrated reality that resides within the seemingly factual, but may not necessarily reveal the only truth.

Challenging the dimensions of the architectural and urban discipline in its broadest understanding through different views, we investigate its potential of taking a life supporting, futile or destructive role in our living environment to speculate on extrapolating different possible per.spectives within a planetary, spatial revolution in earthly urbanization.

Continuous assessment through frequent and active participation.
Presentation, investigation of a sub-topic.
Seminar-work: documented visual/textual elaboration with negotiable focus, related to individual interest and the subject of the course.

Priority is given to students of architecture from their 2nd year on, who did not yet participate in the course. Others are welcome as long as there are places (max 20).

Note: Presence at the first meeting is mandatory for participation.
