Beschreibung

In the summer semester 2022 this ‘Artscience practises’ seminar will continue to explore ecological, non-hierarchical ways of working together and doing research together. There will be topic-centred sessions in which participants are encouraged to share their key inspirational sources, like texts, people, non-human entities, art/science works, practises, and so on. Additionally, workshops by alumni are planned in order to involve previous students with their skills and to support the students’ network.

Neighbouring to the seminar are the ‘Artscience practises’ S01497 of Brishty Alam, including one-on-one meetings on installing works and exhibition visits.

Please note, the first session will be on 16.3., 10:00–11:30 (instead of 9.3.)!

UPDATE: When I spoke to Danube Transformation Agency for Agency (DTAFA) to organise one of the alumni workshops, we decided to collaborate more extensively, which I hope will be very productive and enjoyable for all participants as we will be working on one thematic threat together and tackle hands-on tasks.

DTAFA is an ecofeminist and socio-artistic organization that provides services and mediations between species. Employing hybrid practices between visual art, design and science the organization advocates for a livable Danubian future by enabling new imaginaries for the Danube’s ecosystems.
