Much depends on a globally coordinated response to the complex, interconnected challenges of inequality and the climate catastrophe. While remaining alert to criticism and against the lull of doxa, this course takes seriously the idea that better futures are possible. Setting out from this premise, the course equips participants with sharp economic competencies to begin to track the arguments and decipher the tools of influential perspectives in contemporary debates.
Examination by essay and peer review process.
Students from other study programs or other universities are welcome, provided the room capacity permits.
