An Artists' Writing

Michaela Obermair
Fine Arts and Media Art, Photography
2021W, Vorlesung und Übungen (VU), 2.0 ECTS, 2.0 semester hours, course number S04060

In this block course we will find different approaches to our own writing and try to activate the flow of writing. A textual exploration is an important part of artistic creation, whether it is for finding titles, describing artistic work for portfolios, submissions, artist statements, or for expressing vague thoughts. We will do Freewritings and talk about Shitty First Drafts. Depending on our interests, we may choose to focus together on creative writing, the key points of academic writing, essays,...

At the end, each person will present his/her finished, self-selected text type.
