Beschreibung
Are humans defining technology, or is technology defining humans? Some consider the case that we are less in control of the trajectory of technology than we think. It shapes us as much as we shape it, and it may be more defensible to think of technology as the result of a Darwinian coevolution than the result of top-down intelligent design. We want to explore some aspects of these questions in the context of the "Radical Matter" project, which is a cooperation with the Royal College of Art, London.
Prüfungsmodalitäten
80% attendance; active collaboration in form of research and presentations, reading the literature and preparation of introductory notes, project work: exploring and re/presenting project in small groups
