The seminar investigates the history of modern knowledge systems and especially the shift initiated within this field by introducing machine generated knowledge. How will this new kind of "knowing" influence our society and which significance will art and artistic practice have in this context?

Examination Modalities

80% attendance; active collaboration in form of research and presentations, reading the literature and preparation of introductory notes, project work: exploring and re/presenting project in small groups
