Kunst als System und Prozess I

Anna Zwingl
Fine Arts and Media Art, Transmedia Art
2021W, artistic Seminar (SEK), 2.0 ECTS, 2.0 semester hours, course number S03426

The course is intended to be a framework and field of experimentation in the first year of study. To explore fields of interest, conditions and escapades of art.
Where is the border between sensuality and logic of art? Which systems in art exist at all? And what can an artistic process be?
Through examples of current art production as well as references to historical works, an attempt is made to give an initial idea of connections and contextualizations.

In short studies and joint discussions we will focus on the above-mentioned topics, try to grasp (basic) concepts of art and formulate first own working approaches through self-experiments.

We will discuss the exact procedure and topics at the first meeting.
