2021W, artistic Seminar (SEK), 2.0 ECTS, 2.0 semester hours, course number S02852
Students who have already worked with video, or have planned a video production for a project or for a diploma and need technical and artistic support. In one-on-one discussions, the specific question is addressed and proposed solutions are worked out.
A specific focus of this course is film editing. Since the film editing is much more than the mere stringing together of different settings within a film, this seminar explains which elements the film editing uses and what role rhythm plays in it. "Narrative Continuity, Rhythm and Timing".
To attend this seminar, please send an email to me (andreas.braito@uni-ak.ac.at) to present your own video project that is planned or is already in production and possibly briefly explain the technical question.
Spread over the semester, personal appointments in the video studio or via ZOOM meeting will be arranged in consultation with me. For this purpose, if you have already started your project, please take your project files on an external storage medium with you to the meeting or send them to me via WeTransfer for a possible ZOOM meeting.
