GCSD Angewandte enrolled students (in their 1st semester) as well as GCSD exchange students from Tongji University (in their 3rd semester) are accompagnied through their course of study in regard to the successful completion of the programme.

Students  develop and maintain tools and methods for the continuous and critical reflection of their studies progress. They use selected media for the documentation of their study projects, their experiences, as well as their competences, and discuss and reflect their progress together with their peers and the head of programme.

Examination and grading is based on the following parameters:

- Mandatory attendance at all classes (a successful completion requires at least 80%)

- Active participation during class

- Keeping and maintaining a study portfolio

This course is offered to students of the MA programme “Global Challenges + Sustainable Developments” mainly.

The course is planned optimisticly and eagerly to take place in presence. However, the COVID-19 regulations might make a distance learning inevitable. In that case, structure and methods of teaching will be adapted accordingly.
