2021S, Vorlesung und Übungen (VU), 2.0 ECTS, 2.0 semester hours, course number S03678

Description

We want to deal historically with the origin of poses by analyzing especially ancient sculptures and examining them for their political content.

Following the cultural history we try to find out differences in the centuries. The main focus will be on poses in a contemporary context and performance art, as this is a rather unknown area, even though we are confronted with contemporary poses every day. It is of particular importance that we examine the political effects of poses in order to make them applicable. The workshop is located in the interplay of theory and practical performance elements.
