Description

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE COVID-19 SITUATION THIS COURSE WILL BE HELD VIRUTALLY THIS SEMESTER. THE STUDENTS ARE PROVIDED WITH ADDITIONAL TUTORIAL VIDEOS.

The lecture is about theory and the numerous applications of geometry.

The two major topics of this semester are

PERSPECTIVE FREEHAND DRAWING

and

THE GEOMETRY OF MOTION (Kinematics).

Examination Modalities

This semester there will be no public presentations. Instead, the contributions that are handed in will eventually result in the grade.

Assessment for this course includes the delivery and the written/electronic form of the drawings.  Due to the Covid-19 Situation, there will be no stand-alone exam.

Comments

Prerequisite: ideally Angewandte Geometrie 1, but not mandatory.
