2020W, Übungen (UE), 1.0 ECTS, 2.0 semester hours, course number S30451

Description

The Orientation Tutorial is an introduction to the university´s infrastructure. Together we aim to tour Die Angewandte - specifically the locations at OKP, VZA7 and SALZ. We will visit the wood and metallic studio, ceramics studio, computer and video studio, silkscreen/ relief/ gravure/ flat screen printing, the book and paper studio, and the digital photography lab.

The course will take place on two seperate days on which the heads of the studios will introduce their workplace infrastructure and the possibilities for courses and projects. We will learn about the variety of expertise and support the different workshops offer the students at Angewandte. We will also help you find your way around the university buildings and workshops. (Wearing a mask during the tour is obligatory!)

Examination Modalities

As a final project, the students will make a workpiece of their choice in collaboration with one of the workshops.
