Cobot Studio Pilot Factory for Industry 4.0

Beschreibung

In this course, students will be introduced to basic trends and developments in industrial applications of collaborative robots (cobots). We will look into application fields of cobots, the basics concerning safety norms, intuitive programming of cobots, and teaching of cobots. After the introduction, students work independently and in small teams on a use case with cobots as a tool.

 

The first part will be taught as a distance teaching course, the hands-on sessions will take place on-site @Pilot Factory.

Prüfungsmodalitäten

  • Individual evaluation of learning path (question nuggets) (20%)
  • Team work (2 humans):
    • o Preparation of hands-on project plan (15%)
    • o Recorded video of final use case (5%)
    • o Use case functionality, creativity, industrial suitability, human-robot team suitability (40%)
    • o Written report (20%)

Anmerkungen

  • Attendance is required in each of one hands-on sessions (in total students are two times @Pilot Factory)
  • Please bring your own face mask to Pilot Factory. The robots and computers can and will be disinfected between teams. You are also welcome to bring disposable gloves for the exercise.
  • If you do not feel well on the day of the exercise, please do not come by, let us know and we will arrange a later date!
  • The Pilotfabrik Industrie 4.0 is in Seestadtstraße 27/3, 1220 Wien.

17. Dezember 2020, 13:00–16:00, „Q&A session and online discussion of ideas (each group should present („pitch“) the idea in 2 minutes + 5 minutes discussion) (MS Teams)“
