This winter semester we will visit two art collections as part of the Extracurricular Tendencies course. We will have a guided tour through the respective premises and afterwards we will talk and discuss about what we have seen. Through exchange and the input of the participants we will initiate a first reflection on site. Furthermore, there will be a written/practical assignment.

15th January 2021: evn collection

22th January 2021: Arbeiterkammer art collection

The aim is to capture artistic working methods, the context in which they are shown and the way they are presented as well as the reflection of one's own point of view and the relation to one's own work.

 

 

 

Students from other faculties or universities will receive a place on the course subject to room capacities.

Immanent examination modalities.

Presence at both appointments and the kick-off meeting.

Submission of a written or practical reflection/reaction (e.g. artistic work or short essay).
