In the winter semester 2020/2021 we would like to continue exploring ecological ways of working together with a focus on setting-up our new studio/workshops/working-space at the new location in Postsparkasse (move date = summer 2021). Through excursions to different studios and workshops we will see what kinds of atmosphere and practises the spatial structures facilitate and how the sharing of the space is organised. Alongside this we will plan/design/reinvent our own collaborative infrastructure and learn basic practical/planning skills that are also useful in your works and exhibitions (e.g. making a model, drawing a plan, budget, building furniture etc)

The course will run until mid december 2020. The design of the course (e.g. regular or blocked meetings) will adapt to potential new COVID-19 regulations and if online meetings will be necessary.

This is a joint course with Artscience practises S01496 with Valerie Deifel so in total it is 2SH and 4ECTs.

The course will take place on Monday afternoons 2-6pm – dates will be annouced.

We will have a look through the new rooms of our department so you can take notes and photos to help plan what you want to do with your new space!
