Art and Technology, Geometry
2019W, Übungen (UE), 1.5 ECTS, 2.0 semester hours, course number S10035
This interactive course is aimed at students who are not taking the "main" Applied Geometry lecture (mandatory course for architecture and industrial design), providing an informal introudction to the world of Geometry.
The course will focus on axonometric projections and perspectives of cuboids and prisms, cylinders and cones, training participants to recognise such components in more complex forms. See also www.uni-ak.ac.at/geom/geom (particularly the part about freehand drawing)
Each session is usually concluded with a self-chosen exercise that is then assessed. The final grade is made up of these tasks in combination with questions relating to individual aspects of them.
This course will be held by appointment.
