We will be working with found materials. Each student will pick a material that can be found in our daily life and is for free - a material that cannot be bought and as such does not have a clear monetary value: stock footage, freesounds.org, code samples, various templates, ...

Winter semester: “Awesome”

How do industrial modes of production relate to art production? What are the narrations that can be found in artistic as well as in economic strategies? From an analysis of the context, the materiality and the strategies behind the production of the chosen examples each student will develop a strategy / a work. Results will be presented in the setting of a group exhibition at the end of the winter term.

Summer semester: “Keep on improving!”

Students from other faculties or universities will be given a place on the course subject to room capacities.
