Description

The focus is on the silhouette and the implicit body (ver) formations of twentieth-century women's fashion. The introduction will give an overview of women's clothing of the 19th century.

This is followed by a presentation of costume-historical and morphological facts and the resulting systematic connections. There will be shown also original objects from the Costume and Fashion Collection of the University of Applied Arts Vienna. The lecture will be supplemented with film excerpts.

2nd exam of 2019W: Friday, March 6th, 2020, 11:30 till 13:00, Fersteltrakt (Altbau Angewandte), HS 1
