How do you get the surface of a 3 dimensional Object flat? This is the main question behind patternmaking, either it is the human body or any other object. When we talk about patternmaking additionally special behaviour of textiles needs to be considered.

After an introduction of the variety analoge techniques of textiles and patternmaking we try to adapt this knowledge onto diverse objects (bottles, furniture, human body).

Finally several variations of patterns should be developped

development a concept and project-plan according to a choosen topic till 20.11.

A written and photographic documentation of the work process.
