The destination of the excursion is the province of Vorarlberg, that is situated at the intersection of different cultural spaces an characterized by an independet cultural development. The main emphasis lies in in the historical importance of textile industry, their cultural heritage is preserved in different museums of the region (Vorarlberger Landesmuseum, Textilmuseum St. Gallen, Textildruckmuseum Hard). The topic stained glas and silversmithing art will bei shown by the visitation of the cathedral of Constance, while composed and unmounted sculpture will be presented in the pilgrimage church of Birnau and the parish church of Ɯberlingen. The problem of tourism in world heritage can be discussed during the visitation of the three romanic churches on the isle of Reichenau.
