Beschreibung
In this short course you will learn the fundamentals of typeface design by creating your own text font.
We will start with hand sketches, turn them into outlines on your computer using Glyphs app and then derive more letters from the drawings.
We will discuss optical corrections, balance of white and black, textures, patterns, colour and rhyhtm to give you the tools to expand your character set, test and improve your design.
