Basics of patternmaking and patterncutting

Basic pattern blocks for women (underwear, overall, cape, hoodie, mens shirt, mens trousers,...)

Patterngrading

actual cuts

Goal:

Perfect patterns useable as communication medium and working tool

Patternmaking is the link between design and realization

To learn how to transform a technical sketch into a pattern and from 2D to 3D.

This lecture is also preparation for Schnitttechnik - Analog

Examination Modalities

Personal presence is required

Exercises and homework have to be delivered to the certain dates

Prepare a portfolio-folder

Take part in the technical exam
