Description

Based on your design research, in the seminar, you will discuss how architecture can contribute solutions to achieve "Zero-Energy-Buildings".

The focus this year is on office buildings.

Examination Modalities

You can work in groups up to 3 students, so that you can share workload.

There are 4 obligatory meetings with Prof. Cody and Desk Crits in between.

By the end of the semester, you present a conceptual design that focuses on the energy questions. Besides a beamer presentation, a model will be required.

Comments

Research background is the EU´s ambitions to push the national states towards building codes that require so-called Nearly-Zero-Energy-Buildings.

Seminar is taught in English.
