Description

This course teaches about and analyzes the fundamentals of cinematic storytelling. Using their own story, participants develop and explore their own personal photographic signature.

Short films are planned and prepared for realization. By drawing a storyboard and scene visualizations, narrative moments can be experienced through photo stills, compared to moving images, and discussed in the group.

Examination Modalities

Applied Project. Attendance is mandatory.

Comments

Due to the limited number of workstations and equipment, students in the Department of Applied Photography and Time-based Media are given priority when registering for this seminar.

A basic knowledge of relevant video editing programs is required for this seminar. Class taught in German.
