The course aligns with the project work within the collaboration with BBMRI- ERIC (Biobanking and BioMolecular resources Research Infrastructure - European Research Infrastructure Consortium). This European infrastructure aims at facilitating the access to resources as well as facilities and to support high quality biomolecular and medical research.
During the course the question will be addressed whether in a world of scientific and technical controversies the division between professionals and laypeople is simply outmoded. Should scientific research be complemented by everyday experimentation pursued in the real world? What kind of modes of cooperation between the two could be envisaged?
