The MODE-TOOLS workshop is a 6 x 4 hours block course combining theoretical and practical exercises to develop skills to transform ideas into a visual communication tool/ MOOD-BOARD
The workshop, divided in 3 stages, is to stimulate participants to:
STAGE #1: TO OBSERVE/ TO COLLECT
-Collect information from multiple sources
STAGE #2: TO ANALYZE/ TO SELECT
-Make a critical/analytical selection out of the collected material
STAGE#3: TO PRODUCE/ TO COMMUNICATE
-Produce a tool/MOOD-BOARD in order to communicate ideas in the clearest possible way
The workshop will help participants to:
- Push their understanding of the PROCESS of researching
- Explore the topic of "inspiration"
- Develop research into "concepts"
- Reflect their creative approach in a structured manner
The Mark (100%) will be devided as follow:
40 % DURING the workshop(s)
60% at the end of STAGE #3
(participants will have to present at least one complete Mood- Board
standing for 60 % of the mark)
*Participants should be part of EVERY workshop in order to keep the general work flow/ to get a mark
(in case somebody can NOT be part of a workshop for a valuable reason he/she will have to email me a notification on forehand)
- 15 participants maximum
- If you want to be part of the workshop please send me an email BEFORE March 4 -2019,
i will then email you what material to bring for your first meeting.
-To be part of the WHOLE workshop participants will have to be present on the first meeting on March (to be confirmed!)
- Due to the active nature of the workshop partly-participation is NOT possible!
- ALL material collected during the workshop will have to be filed in an A4 File.
This file will be part of the marking.
The workshop will be held in english !
