Course Title: Publicity, Rumours and Realities about Intelligent Machines
In the course, we will (i) have a closer look at what is behind the term Artificial Intelligence (AI), (ii) we critically assess the social robot Sophia as an example of media hype, (iii) and examine selected research aspects in the design and realization of social robots.
