Institut für Design, Computerstudio
2018S, Vorlesung und Übungen (VU), 2.0 SemStd., LV-Nr. S00767
The purpose of the lecture is to aquire the fundamental basics to be able to use microcontrollers or (max. credit card sized) single board computers.
Within the lecture we will use the Raspberry Pi Zero W.
By the use of several examples, step by step, the following topics will be covered:
What is a computer?
Fundamental parts of a computer
Mikrocontroller (Arduino Uno, PyBoard, ESP8266 etc.) or single board computer (Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone Black etc.)?
Plattforms by comparison (Arduino, MicroPython, Raspbian, Debian)
Which platform for which project?
Introduction to the programming language Python 3.0
Reading input devices & sensors
Controlling LEDs, speakers, motors
Connecting to networks
In- and output of audio signals
Connecting displays
To evaluate the learning progress and for the successful degree, the overall presence and the active participation and successful creation of the examples will be used.
To participate, it is required to sign up
until 5.3.2018 14:00 Uhr.
