In this course the students will gain the basic understanding of Alternative Printing. Alternative Printing was considered to be any process other than the traditional analoge silver-gelatin processes.

The class will start with the cyanotype process: description of the chemicals for the emulsion and their hazards. Then progressing to toning techniques to achieve various color changes. If the class attains a proficiency with the process other printing emulsions will be introduced
