CONTENT/

The Mode Tools workshop is a 6 x 4 hours block course combining theoretical and practical exercises to develop skills to transform ideas into a visual communication tool/ mood board. The workshop, divided in 3 stages, is to stimulate participants to:

STAGE #1 (TO OBSERVE/ TO COLLECT)- Collect information/

STAGE #2 (TO ANALYZE/ TO SELECT)- Make a critical- analytical selection out of the collected material/

STAGE#3 (TO PRODUCE/ TO COMMUNICATE)-Produce a tool (mood-board) in order to communicate ideas in the clearest possible way.

GOAL/

The workshop will help participants to: Push their understanding of the PROCESS of designing, Explore the topic of "INSPIRATION", Develop IDEAS into CONCEPTS, Reflect their creative approach in a structured manner.

The MARK (100%) will be divided as follow:

- 40 % DURING the workshop(s) + at the END of Stage #3 participants will have to present 1 finished mood- board (this boards will stand for 60 % of the final mark.)

 - participants should be part of EVERY workshop in order to keep the general work flow/ to get a mark for that specific workshop. (in case somebody can NOT be part of a workshop for a valuable reason he will have to email me a notification on forehand)

- 15 participants maximum

- If you want to be part of the workshop please send me an email BEFORE ...!

i will then email you what material to bring for your first meeting!

-To be part of the WHOLE workshop participants will have to be present on the first meeting on BEFORE ...!

- Due to the active nature of the workshop partly-participation is NOT possible!

- ALL material collected during the workshop will have to be filed in an A4 File. This file will be part of the marking.

 The workshop will be held in english !
