Description
Intense discussion and working with moving images, as well as the practical implementation of the video medium in terms of artistic expression are central aspects of the course. Examples of contemporary video artworks will be shown and the development of individual artistic themes and ideas will be raised within a critical discourseand think-tank environment. The interaction of video art and other artistic media will be discussed and implemented. The main aspect of this seminar is to find individual approaches and work towards their possible realization, therefore a knowledge in technical implementation is a benefit. The joint exploration of ways and means of expression is possible both in one on one meetings as well as in a group setting.
