DRAWING INSPIRATION FROM THINGS YET TO COME The beginning of something new is always a critical and crucial moment in an unfolding endeavour. How to create conditions for approaching things yet to come? This first seminar focuses on the idea of sharing propositions for artistic strategies of emergence. Taking the presentations at the Internal Colloquium (https://base.uni-ak.ac.at/courses/2016W/S01771/) as a starting point you are invited to contribute carefully chosen material of your individual project to be exchanged, tested, translated and transformed by others. Which elements can be further developed to draft, to sketch, to map and to project something not yet known? Which experiments can be conducted for cultivating a practice from searching to finding and to re-searching again? Which language or sign system can be invented to articulate these poetic processes between the known and the unknown? Lets limbo!

Beside the seminar we will also take time to discuss practicalities and time frames of the PhD programme in perspective of 2016/17. This seminar is not a public event. For selected PhD canditates only.
