DESIGN OF THE COUNTER-PERFORMANCE

Objectives of this Seminar are to find visual and performative actions, designing non-violent esthetic resistance and counter -react to disruptions of contemporary art productions.

Developed strategies (actions, performances) should be applied during the semester and documented.

This Seminar should be combined with LV Gestaltungsprojekte III//Projektseminar-Design, Architektur/Environment.

Objectives of this Seminar are to engage with the "Situationism", with the Situationist Internationale, with its founder Guy Debord, with the Occupy Movement, Kale Lasn, "Culture Jamming", the cyberprotest as example: AdBusters. Contents of this seminar should give you a strong background and various ideas for interventions at Seminar Gestaltungsprojekte I/Projektarbeiten I - Design, Research u. Designvermittlung

This Seminar takes place in cooperation with the sociologist and youth culture researcher Mag. Bernhard Heinzlmaier. (13.10.16, 10.11.16, 15.12.16, 12.01.17, 19.01.17, 02.02.17: jeweils 11:30-13:00 Uhr)

Examination Modalities

Constant Presence, willingness for discourse, development and implementation of actions and performances, documentation (foto, movie, text). Presentation and reflexion of the interventions within the Seminarteam.

Zusätzlich zu den fixen LV Terminen ist auch eine Einzelbetreuung vorgesehen.
